Rules and Regulations

1.Speed Limit in campground is “5 MPH” or less. Please stop at all stop signs.

 

 

2.Check-in time 3:00 pm (before 12 noon-full day rate),Check-out Time 2:00pm

 

3.Occupancy of campsite is restricted to only mother and father and unmarried children(under the age of 20) living at home. No minor will be allowed to make use of a rented site when an adult is not present.

 

4.Two Tents or one trailer and one tent per site per family. Old Refrigerators shall be painted green and placed in rear of trailer or tent. Must have locks. (STATE LAW)

 

5. Deposits are due on time each month according to your payment schedule till final payment is due in August. Any payment that is not received on time will receive a $25.00 Late fee. Any seasonal that is back two months payment will be asked to leave the campground with no refund.

 

6.Only the site is rented to you. No spreading out into woodland around site is permitted for vehicles or tents or any other camping use. Permission must be obtained from manager for any site alterations. Parking is restricted to rented site only. If your vehicle is parked on another site, the daily rate of $25.00 will be added to your bill.

 

7.Visitors must register at office, pay fee and receive sticker which must be placed on car before entering the campground. Visitors are charged $3.00 per person per day and $10.00 per person per night. Visitors must leave cars in the visitor parking area, Two cars permitted on a site only. No visitor admitted into campground after 9:00pm. All visitors must be out of campground by “QUITE HOUR”. All campers are responsible for the conduct and behavior of their visitors. Children under 10 and adults over 60 are admitted free of charge.

 

8.No cutting across other people’s sites.

 

9.No lines of any description shall be tied to any tree or bush lines, for drying wet bathing suits and towels can be had, but must be taken down after items are dry. Lines can be tied to awning poles or tent poles only.

 

10.Cutting or injuring trees is strictly forbidden.

 

11.No fires are to be built any where except in fire rings on site, and should not be left unattended at any time. Fire rings available upon request. A $10.00 fine will be imposed for moving of fire rings and picnic table from any site, unless permission is granted by the manager. No burning of full pallets all pallets are to be cut in half prior to entering the campground.

 

12.Anyone destroying any property or trespassing on posted property shall be responsible for damages and shall be evicted immediately.

13. Due to town ordinances Hide-Away-Cove management must approve ALL construction projects. Construction cannot begin until both parties sign a copy of this document. The office has copies of pictures and sketches that are acceptable. ANY construction that begins without authorization will be stopped immediately and you will be asked to remove what ever has been erected.*Repairs to additions will be as follows: Any pre-existing additions that are fully enclosed will be allowed to remain as such and repaired as such. The only exception to this will be roofs. Roofs containing asphalt products must be brought up to new standards once they have been replaced. Asphalt roofing materials will no longer be able to be applied. Even if it was pre-existing!!

14.Excessive drinking, intoxication or foul language will not be permitted. The use of alcohol is not permitted under legal drinking age. Unsatisfactory behavior constitutes the cancellation of your camping contract without refund and camper must leave campground.

15.Children must be supervised at all times, including at the beach, pool, Rec hall and in the bathrooms.

16.No swimming after dark and no one on beach after lights go out(Quiet hour).

17. No child under the age of 14 is allowed in the pool area with out an adult over the age of 18. No minor is allowed to watch another child in the pool area or any where else within the campground. STRICKTLY INFORCED.

18.No firearms or fire works allowed or illegal items are to be brought into the campground. Unsatisfactory behavior constitutes the cancellation of your camping contract without refund and camper must leave campground.

19. No joyriding. All vehicle’s must be parked on your own site or in visitors parking.

20.All private Boats, Rubber Boats and Rafts, Canoes, etc., to be launched from boat ramp- motors are limited to 7 HP only.

21.Boats, Rubber Boats, Rafts and Canoes are not allowed in swimming area at any time.

22.Each camper will securely wrap all garbage and trash in plastic bags and deposit them neatly in dumpsters provided. Each family is required to keep their area clean and tidy at all times. The goal is to keep Hide-A-Way Cove neat and clean. Management reserves the right to ask for the removal of any items deemed unsightly. If management has to remove such items you as the camper will be charged a $50.00 clean up fee.---WE RECYCLE.

23.Because of the exorbitant price of electricity, use of patio lights is not encouraged and is limited to one strand per site. We understand leaving one light on during the week. If we find unessential items left on we will pull your power cord and Hide Away Cove will not be held responsible for loss of food left in the fridge. So please try to conserve electricity.

24. When selling of campers Hide-A-Way Cove requires that both parties(both the seller and the buyer) must be present in the office together before any transaction can take place. This protects all parties involved including Hide-A-Way Cove.

25.Campsite fees are due and payable in advance, subletting is not allowed.

26.Proof of up to date vaccinations for each pet is required upon entering the campground. Visitors are not permitted to bring pets. Children are not allowed to walk pets in the campground. Pets must be on a short leash at all times and to remain on a strong durable chain or rope that will not allow pet to extend off the rented site in any direction. All pet droppings are the responsibility of the pet owner. Pets are not allowed in the rec halls, playgrounds, swimming areas, and rest rooms. If any pet is creating a disturbance or being a nuisance, the pet shall be immediately removed. OVER AND ABOVE THESE RULES, THE CAMPGROUND OWNER CAN, DENY ANY PET WHATSOVER INTO THEIR CAMPGROUND.

27.NO BICYCLES, SKATEBOARDS, MOTORBIKES, MOPEDS OR ANY UNREGISTERED VEHICLES ALLOWED IN CAMPGROUND.

28.Washing of automobiles is strictly forbidden in campground.

29. Any camper who is planning on having a lot of visitors for cook-outs, birthday parties, etc. must receive approval from management prior to that date. We ask all campers (seasonal and weekend campers) not to have a lot of visitors on holiday weekends due to amount of people in the campground. We due this for the safety and comfort of all campers. OVER AND ABOVE THESE RULES, THE CAMPGROUND OWNER CAN, DENY ANY VISITOR FROM ENTERING THE CAMPGOUND.

30. Any camper who abandons their property such as campers and vehicles and any other property for non-payment or was asked to remove such property out of the campground. Hide-A-Way Cove Campground will sell or remove such items at owners expense.

31. Any porch or camper door 3’ from the ground is required by law to put up a hand rail. Any soft or rotted wood on porches or platforms are to be replaced immediately.

32. No hanging of swings on site. No pools higher then 12 inches are permitted on site by law.

33. Must have a permanent residence. A valid drivers license and utility bill (up to date)will be requested upon entering the campground. (State Law)

    HIDE-A-WAY COVE CAMPGROUND IS A PRIVATELY OWNED CAMPGROUND. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ASK ANY SEASONAL OR GUEST TO LEAVE FOR ANY INFRACTION OF POICLY OR ANY TYPE OF BEHAVIOR DEEMED INAPPROPRIATE OR UNSAFE IN ORDER TO ENSURE THE WELL BEING OF ALL CAMPERS AT HIDE-A-WAY COVE. ANYONE ASKED TO LEAVE HIDE-A-WAY COVE FOR ANY REASON WILL BE CONSIDERED A TRESSPASSER AND THERE BY SUBJECT TO NO REFUNDS, ARRESST AND OR PROSECUTION. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS AGREEMENT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A LANDLORD-TENNEANT AGREEMENT. HIDE-A-WAY COVE IS FOR TRANSIENT LODGING ONLY.
